About Us
The #morebulletspeez campaign is a grassroots initiative led by a concerned parent of a United States Marine Corps service member. Founded in October 2025, our effort stems from firsthand observations of training deficiencies within the Corps, particularly for non-infantry and support roles. We are dedicated to advocating for enhanced marksmanship sustainment to uphold the foundational principle that every Marine is a rifleman. Through professional outreach, petition drives, and educational resources, we engage veterans, families, and policymakers to promote targeted funding increases in federal appropriations. This campaign operates as a private citizen endeavor and is not affiliated with the U.S. Marine Corps or the Department of War.
Our Mission
Our mission is to secure the inclusion of a dedicated amendment in the Fiscal Year 2027 Department of War Appropriations Act, mandating a minimum of 3,120 rounds of annual rifle marksmanship training for every Marine, regardless of military occupational specialty. This initiative addresses the current shortfall where support personnel often receive fewer than 400 rounds per year, aiming to enhance combat proficiency, operational effectiveness, and overall readiness. By proposing $235 million in additional funding—$75 million for operations, maintenance, and rifle sustainment, and $160 million for ammunition procurement—we seek to bridge this gap without redundancy for combat-oriented roles. Through advocacy, we encourage public participation to influence congressional decisions, ensuring the Marine Corps remains a versatile and prepared force.
